Silvia is a Mexican woman, wife, mom and Montessori educator who has guided children, teachers, and parents through the Montessori Philosophy for over 15 years. By being a teacher, school administrator, and Head of School of several multicultural Institutions in Mexico and Canada, Silvia has widened her understanding of the development of young minds, acknowledging the importance of establishing loving and caring relationships to help children thrive. Silvia’s biggest passion relies on inspiring parents, teachers and school administrators to establish communities based on respect and trust for the child. Melody Hazelton is a Master Therapeutic Counsellor, Counselling Therapist, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Positive Discipline Educator, and Keeping The Joy in Relationships Facilitator. In addition to therapeutic counselling, she offers educational workshops that provide tools to help empower parents on their journey to better relationships with their children and with each other. "My journey with Positive Discipline began about 6 years ago but our family has seen the benefits firsthand of using PD in our home. I was drawn to PD because the principles were in alignment with my values and beliefs as a parent and with my training as a therapeutic counsellor. Seeing the benefits firsthand, I wanted to share these tools with other parents so I decided to become a PD educator and to start offering PD classes to my clients and other parents."
Hello, I am Cynthia, mother of two beautiful, sensitive, and intense daughters, aged 5 and 10. as well as founder of "Ma Famille Positive" and a certified Positive Discipline coach. I am now recovering from being an overly permissive mother. Nice to meet you! Not so long ago my life was chaotic, I was constantly yelling at my children, and I was disappointed in the parent I was. It is through my own journey with my children and my training in positive education that I sincerely hope to be able to help you thrive as a parent and find tools to make your family life healthier and, above all, gentler. I want to change the parent-child pattern as we know it so that positive parenting becomes the standard for future generations. I assure you that positive parenting will bring a new perspective and a breath of fresh air into your lives. I look forward to sharing this discovery with you!
